Astrology readings at events? Why not?

Astrology readings are a unique experience. To have a knowledgeable interpreter guide you through your birth chart and show you exactly who you are, who you’re becoming and what remains hidden from you, for various reasons, is a magical encounter. 

You can get your horoscope online for free and you might resonate with it—but you probably won’t. Here’s why:

Everyone has the whole of the zodiac in their chart. 

We are mulit-faceted beings, like beautiful gems being polished and shaped by the lives we live. Each facet of the gem is represented by a placement in your birth chart that is part of the unique energy you came into this life to develop and utilize. 

Each facet of our personal gem is represented by different characters, or planetary placements, which make us unique. If you’ve ever met two people with the same birthday, you understand what I mean. They may share the same Sun sign, but their charts make them completely individual because no two charts are alike, even for twins!

What kind of entertainment should I have for my event?

I’ve participated as an entertainer in many different events in my life, from weddings to private events to weekenders in the mountains for thousands of winter sports gamers to corporate events and galas.

It’s always interesting to see what kind of entertainment has been booked for the variety of events. Sometimes it matches the theme, but most times it doesn’t. 

It really depends on what the event planner and their client (or boss) deems as entertaining and valuable to their guests. Which, by the way, can be indicated in the planner’s astrological birth chart based on their rising sign and a few other points in the chart.

For example, someone with a fiery rising sign will value entertainment and the whole of the occasion and work hard to make sure it’s a curated experience. A planner that has an air rising sign might value a more intellectual or thought-provoking approach like hiring a mentalist. Earth signs will lean towards the more sensual aspects of the event such as the food, the atmosphere or the tactile and practical details. And a water sign will lean towards an experience that may be healing or promote connectivity with others. 

There are so many aspects that an event planner needs to consider when putting on an event.

If your intention is to put on an event that thrills and delights your guests, entertainment should be one of the items highest on the list.

Why Astrology Readings for Events?

Everyone is fascinated with the unknown and the unanswered mysteries of life and the Universe. As an astrologer and oracle card reader, I am the conduit through which some answers and validations can be received.

That being said, I’m also a highly ethical practitioner. I have put in place energetic filters that allow me to discern what my clients are ready to hear and what they are not. I will NOT be telling people that they will come to an unfortunate circumstance in the next 24 hours or other such nonsense that is depicted in crude interpretations of astrologers and oracles in pop culture media. 

Trust me, when the males get drunk at these kinds of events, that’s what they project outwards as they sidle their way over to have their cards read by me. 

My work as an astrologer and healer is to uplift, inspire and help others in their transformations. I view this work as self care AND educational/informational. 

With the added layer of astrology, the person being read feels a deeper resonance with the information because it’s a knowing that is a living energetic signature within them. At the very least, it’s entertaining to have a complete stranger tell you what you need to feel safe and secure. But also validating that this mystical stuff might actually help one know oneself.
